I don't think any of the video footage is new. Garths' dialogue sounds paraphrased from "Prelude", but I'm personally not sure I've heard that speech by Kharn before. Has it been used elsewhere?

In most reference points the firmament is the solid sky dome (on a flat earth). Having waves crash upon upon it like cliffs is basically nonsense

Lol - so they took a clip from the unreleased "Origins" short; added probably all the SFX footage Tobias Richter created for AXANAR (that they could find) - and did a promo with a few minutes of new voice over - and trying to claim "look what we shot"?

Hell, it looks more like an opening cutscene for a mid budget Star Trek based PC game than a film. (YMMV)
