Probably has something to do with the animation guild being the only creative arm Paramount can use to produce new content while WGA and SAG are still on strike.

Wasn't the first of these meant to be up today? Or is it US only?
It's supposed to be released later in the day.
They were announced a week after the SAG strike started, so unlikely.
Plus the lead time for animation is several months to a year.
I didn't see any indication of these on Paramount plus before I left for work.
The first one is funny! A very Lower Decks sensibility with some great attention to detail to recreate a 1970s experience.
That was so funny!! Love it. Great decision to get Pete Holmes as Kirk, I've always thought he was funny.
I expected this to be the worst thing ever.

That was very Sealab 2021-ish.
It had the same mixture of funny and unfunny gags like that show did. And the Enterprise blowing up at the end was very reminiscent of the running gag of Sealab blowing up at the end of episodes.

That's what it reminded me of.
Except, mostly unfunny with Sealab, and mixed on this one.
They may be non-canon, but I demand Knicker Alien, Along with Ass Alien and Nail Alien show up in Strange New Worlds next season.
We're gonna get some mad cosplays out of this.
