The hell?? This.... is real. And they all look pretty damn young. But post-series. Did they build that bridge just for the commercial??? No way this was from '66- '69..... WTF??? When was this filmed??? My brain hurts.
The voice actors synching to the fake actors really creates the mental illusion that it really could be the real characters. Scotty and Uhura were down right creepy in how perfect they look. The voices complete the illusion. Too bad Shatner and company (whoever is left) can't do voiceovers for Trek Continues episodes.....

Having David Lynch get anywhere near Trek, in any form, would be (IMHO) an extremely terrifying prospect.
I would love to see the episode where they find a rift in space that leads to the other dimension known as the Black Lodge and it's strange, otherworldly, alien godlike inhabitants. It honestly doesn't even feel like too much of a stretch........
