Cardio exercises

I'm more interested in cardio than building muscle bulk. I hate the gym and can't jog due to long term injuries. I keep fit with doing kettlebells and yoga at home. Does anybody have any ideas for cardio related exercises that can be done at home with minimum requirement of equipment?
 
No nice quiet parks in the area to go biking?

I wouldn't even consider trying to bike on any of the roads around here - too many idiots playing with cell-phones...
 
Not sure how to do cardio-in-place without equipment. Do your injuries rule out trail running if just road running? I know a lot of runners as they get older switch to trails for lower impact.
 
I would suspect if jogging is out due to an injury - jumping jacks are probably not a great idea either..?

Do you swim? Swimming really burns the calories like crazy. Pretty much every muscle in your body gets a nice steady workout and it's mostly low-impact.

I'm assuming the injury doesn't involve any serious joint restrictions (flexibility issues etc...).
 
Stationary bike and an ipad- watch all 900 hours of Trek and you’ll be 100% healthy!
