Captain Janeway (the best captain) Trivia Quiz

From in the flesh

SEVEN: Captain?
JANEWAY: The head groundskeeper at Starfleet Academy. When I was a cadet, he used to give me fresh roses for my quarters.
Lets say that there are 200,000 students on campus at any one time, and the actual number of students is a multiple of that, as the entire student body is moving in and out of the campus to annexes and other field study area like star bases and star ships.

Some suggest that Spock was a Cadet in The Menagerie.

Nog was cadet when he arrived (back) on DS9, but you have to wonder, where were all the over cadets on Picard, and Kirk's Enterprises or Voyager? And really if there were 30 other cadets on DS9 being ignored, I can see how Nog might wake up to being beaten with a bag of Oranges every night.

So, maybe there's only 40 thousand students at any one time.

A 60 year old man leaves flowers in the room of an 18 year old girl ever day.

Maybe Janeway looked just like a dead wife or dead child, but in any other case this screams sexual predator.

(I reread the quote)

It's also possible that only Janeway had the nuts to ask him for flowers, which is why 90 thousand other teenagers of random genders didn't wake up to find flowers next to their bedside table every morning.

Cou-entitled princess -ough!

Janeway is very good with people. She comes alongside you, puts her hand on your arm and asks you about yourself. Your work, your day. You feel as though she is genuinely interested and cares.

This is what she did when she came across Boothby mucking about in the roses and since all these tens of thousands (as calculated by Guy Gardener) cadets just walked past that UNevolved dirt mucker who somehow missed the bettering yourself memo he was utterly charmed and touched. And as a way of saying thank you and also remembering that yes, he was important to all these colourful smart folk even if they didn't know it, he would from time to time bring her fresh roses.

She represented the reason he showed up every day, a cadet for whom the earth was not merely something you worked your hardest to finally leave but something that gave you beauty.

Nine out of ten. Missed the rank in Nemesis question. I know more about Janeway than I thought.

7/10 I got # 2, 5, and 7 wrong. 2 is understandable though because I haven't seen Nemesis. I should have known 5. When does Janeway say Kirk is the captain whom she would most like to serve under?

Probably Flashback.

"A little faster to draw their phasers, and a little slower to invoke the Prime Directive."
