Samples of Alan Silvestri's score have been released. You can hear the first part starting at 2:43 and the second part starting at 11:16.
I like it a lot. It sounds like we're getting a great score. And I love how in some parts you can kind of sing "CAP-TAIN A-MER-I-CA!" along with it.

Alan Silvestri is a terrifically underrated composer. I loved his recent score for The A-Team, and he's the perfect composer for Captain America.

^ Agreed. His score for "G.I.Joe" was one of the better things about that movie.

I don't get the impression this movie will be anything like the over-the-top Patriotism of Team America and the Producers have been sensitive to it from the beginning. I think it'll be fine
How so? Pres. Obama was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for absolutely nothing, and has changed nothing about Pres. Bush policies (Other than starting a war on a 3rd front gave aid to "Freedom Fighters" who were called Terrorists when it was Iran only supporting them)

Correct. The international posters actually have "The First Avenger" in a font size that's just as big as "Captain America," and the commercials replace "Heroes are made in America" with "Meet the first Avenger."

is this going to be one of those movies where the end is of the movie will be the begining and everthing that has to do with ww2 is all a flashback? the only reason I am asking is cause in the new previews we maybe seeing the ending in it all ready.

Screen Rant (I don't know how reliable of a source that is) said it is bookended with present day scenes. I can't remember how much they said, but I have a feeling we're going to see them find him in the ice, then flashback to WW2, and then come back to the present for the end.

Who the President of the US is wouldn't be a factor imo anyway. Moviegoers just want a good movie.
It's been falling but still color me shocked that countries who skew towards a socialistic system would like Obama who skews socialist. No surprise but this isn't really the thread to talk about the emperor with no clothes.
