It's because of the fans like Ptrope, Stewey, Sam Cogley, the Realist, along with the other 9 million viewers who refused to watch what they considered to be subpar Trek that Bermaga put any effort at all into season three...

I don't recall the others but as far as Stewey goes, just to be fair, he lives in the United Kingdom. So therefore was never part of the original 12 million viewers who tuned in nor part of its drop off. The blame falls on US viewers, solely.

Should this thread be closed already?
I'm post #1004!!!!
I guess the mods are busy in other places, like tonights awesome grading thread.

Cancellation sucks.

I just wish that ENT had in the first season what it had tonight with "United". Wow  , what a great episode!

Cogley might or might not have watched, but he always gave damned good reasons why, he was damned honest, and quite damned entertaining.

Exactly. Totally agree!

The differences a few writers make are amazing, aren't they? Good job from the cast (except for maybe the emotionless polly).

*Edited for grammar.

Very, very true.

And even though Stewey lives in the UK, TPTB still make money from the oversees viewership too (albiet not as much). UK viewership doesn't determine whether a show is renewed, but if it does lose viewership, TPTB are still losing money.

And tonight's episode was damn good. Too bad everyone's given up on this show in the first two seasons, and it will most likely be in the 2.4 million range. :(

She went before her time. I'll miss ya, gal.

Maybe we'll get lucky and SPIKE will want to pick it up.

^^ Only problem with that is that Spike is also owned by Viacom. So if they won't put it on one Viacom station, they surely wouldn't on the other if they feel it isn't bring in enough ratings to generate the cash flow they're looking for.

As it's been said, ENt is far too expensive to be a cable series. Unless they cut way back on sets and move production to Vancouver, it aint' gonna happen. The best bet would be to try and pair this show up with "Smallville" on the WB, but with Moonves's atittude about Trek needing a rest, I think this will be it for new Trek seasons.

^^^^^
Plus, I don't think Spike has any or much original programming right? They just buy the syndication rights to alot of shows and that is what they air mostly.

ENT Lives!

Screw post count.
Words to live by.

On a serious note, we're well past the mandatory 1000 posts to close.

You're all a great bunch of Star Trek fans. Don't ever forget that.

Saving and closing
