CANCELLED

Maybe if the ratings suddenly shoot up in the Feb sweeps, the descion will be reversed. I doubt it though.

I thought the first two seasons were a decidedly mixed bag, and I haven't seen any of the third or fourth seasons yet (I hope I find them a big improvement as some others have).

I'm sorry for all who were devoted fans of the show. A small consolation: the show flirted with cancellation at the end of its third season; count getting the fourth season as a blessing.

This is the end of an era for all of us. The 2005/2006 season will be the first time since 1987 that there'll be no new Star Trek on the air. We may be without a new Trek show for quite some time. Hopefully Trek will rise again, and better than ever.

I wish ENT had passed the 100 episode mark. It may be a silly bit of psychology, but I really wish it was part of that club. I don't like to see a Trek show end just short of it.

Sorry to hear this ENT fans. It sucks when a show you love gets shafted by TPTB.

The rest of the season sounds good, I hope you enjoy what's left.

Re: CANCELLED - WHAT??????????????

At least they've given the actors time to go out and find new shows to work on during pilot season. Plus, everyone now knows that the end is here, and can (hopefully) write a fitting finale.

Considering that Moonves (who essentially controls everything about the franchise's future now) has stated his dislike for the franchise, I doubt we'll see a resurrection, or new series, anytime soon.

Now maybe the constant "ENT should be cancelled" stuff will stop.

:(

At this point, I know we're all in denial but I don't think that'll happen.

I'm pretty sure that the decision was made a while back, but we've just been tailed around until they had a really, really good reason.

2.5 million neilson viewers last week, well, that's a pretty good reason I suppose.

Trek has been on the air continuously since I was 11 years old. That's the part I can't get over, the part that makes me truly sad. I'm guessing we're in for a long, long, dry spell :(

Well of course. I mean the next logical step would be to campaign for it to be never seen on TV again.

I've already written my "save Enterprise" letter.

Time for my nasty "UPN sucks" letter.

your an idiot.....time for you to climb back
under your rock

as for me there are better trek fan sites than this one

Moonves isn't some sort of ruthless dictator you know, if theres enougth support for Star Trek in Paramount, there will be more Trek in the future. And I'm certain there will be.

I agree, when the DVDs come out EVERYONE should buy them that can, that will only prove how much people loved the series, and boycotting UPN will make them lose way more money than the DVD sales would bring.

Don't RIP ENT everyone, RIP UPN!

***DOWN WITH UPN!!!!!*** ***DOWN WITH TPTB!!!***
