I will do so, thank you. I just sort of wish there were people headed to Mars, rather than a robot....I know that in real life space travel does terrible things to the human body, which is why I just pretend all sci fi films have already figured out how to prevent that, otherwise I'd be a cynic I don't want to be LOL..
It's not the damage to the human body - we put people through terrible things for little reason - boxing and american football for two, let alone the risk in industries like mining.
The sad fact is sending a robot is far more economical than sending a person
1) One way trip
2) No food on the trip
3) No air needed
4) Limited radiation shielding
5) No PR disaster when it blows up
Every ounce saved in mass is something like $5 million saved
