Cameo Avery

Would you have liked to see Avery Brooks in some cameo roll in the new movie? If not Avery, then who, from DS9?

I'd like to see Andy Rob or Rene A-of course they're my 2 favorite actors on DS9

If Brook Peters wasn't dead I'd like to see him return as Admiral Cartwright and he is the only one I'd like to see given he was a fantastic actor.

Given Rene A appeared as Colonel West and Dorn appeared as Worf's ancestor in past Trek movies reappearing as these characters could be a nice touch. Coombs could just appear as a background alien, he seems to enjoy spending hours in makeup. Having Brooks, Visitor or Meaney appear just so DS9 fans can feel love seems pointless to me so while I like them I don't need/want to see them in the new movie.

I'm fairly sure the new Trek film is going to be an epic fail in the eyes of many fans, so I'm happy that the DS9 actors are as far away from it as possible.

I am not interested in the movie at all. Hate the idea of going back to TOS time and revisiting characters with new actors. I also hate the fact that the crew members all appear to be under 25. I thought Trek should have gone away for a while (at least a decade). But of course I hoped for too much. The reboot/remake disease has infected all of Hollywood which is limited when it comes to having fresh ideas.

The only DS9 character I want to see in the new movie is Morn. After all, who knows how old his species gets? It would be great to have a scene in a bar or something, and Morn sits in the background.
