C-3PO vs. Data

Doesn't C-3PO get destroyed, taken apart constantly in the movies? I mean he falls off a rock and his freaking arm breaks off! He also has almost no mobility with his arms and very stilted movement when it comes to walking with not very much "running" capability.

Data wouldn't even have to try.
