Wow, great video, think! You have a nice voice!
Oh, and your neighbor sounds sassy. :D

I hope everyone was safe and unharmed!

Any idea what the cause of the fire is?

My neighbour's house caught on fire about 5 years ago. Before that I never realised just how noisy a fire was, or how much it smelt.

I was woken up by a strange sound at 5am. At first I thought it was firecrackers popping but when I looked out I saw the flames. I had to go over across the road because the smell was sickening and it was blowing towards my house. I suppose it was because plastics etc were burning.

thanks :) much thanks..

this is all the video I took they are still breaking down the smoking embers right now.

I got some image work as well but that is not like the video I guess.

I do not think anyone was hurt and that it was just a lit pilot lite that set something off.

I'm glad nobody was hurt. That's a terrible fire, but you got some good videos there.

Thanks for sharing. If you moved about more while filming, and asked people for their thoughts and opinions, you could have a career in journalism. :)

Have you found out yet what the probable cause of the fire was?

Wood by itself burns relatively cleanly. It produces some smoke but it doesn't produce obnoxious fumes. It's plastics which produce the most fumes, and being oil based are a powerful fuel for a fire. We have so much plastic in our homes nowadays, that fires would never be short of fuel.

Carpets, upholstered furniture, plastic seating in restaurants, and electrical goods such as televisions & kitchen appliances all contain a lot of plastic.

Polystyrene and polycarbonate are two of the worst in a fire, as their fumes are highly toxic.
