Burning House DS9-r spoilers

Divine

I'm reading A Burning House and just read a ds9-r spoiler(the status of julian/ezri relationship). I'm waiting for the new DS9 omnibus so I can continue reading ds9-r. So are there any other DS9-r spoilers or can I continue reading?

^ Not that I can think of, but then I didn't consider mentioning a plot point from a book that was released in 2004 to be that much of a "spoiler" either. *sigh*

Well its my fault for reading ahead but the Gorkon books are too good to stop. I'm especially trying to stay sisko spoiler free.

The only post-finale DS9 main characters who appear are Bashir and Dax, and them only in a couple of scenes relating to Rodek. You should be fine, spoiler-wise, beyond the one already mentioned.

So, should I read TBH to further my understanding of th DS9-Relaunch or is that not necessary?

It's not necessary at all. They're two separate series with their own unrelated narratives. It's just that a couple of DS9 characters made a brief appearance in ABH and something about them, something which had already been established and explored thoroughly in the DS9R itself, was briefly alluded to. That's it.

Well I haven't gotten that far in the DS9 relaunch either, but I don't consider a couple breaking up to be a spoiler. That relationship at the end of DS9 only seemed to give Bashir what he wanted since the beginning of the show, did anyone think that was going to last?

As Christopher said, the appearance of Bashir and Dax is a brief guest shot, as it were. It's not a vital part of the DS9 storyline. It's the equivalent of Bashir's guest spot in "Birthright Part 1" or Quark's in "Firstborn."

And they're there because of their relevance to the story of Rodek/Kurn.

Oh, and it's ABH, not TBH. :klingon:
