Burial clothes - why so formal?

I am down for medical experiments, so i suspect by the time they are done with me i will be spending eternity in various plastic bags, but on the plus side i won't ever get wet when it rains.

Same here. I plan on donating my body to science. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get dissected by a cute female UCLA med student.

. . . if you could revive someone and provide them with a new body or repair their old one, their input on what life was like during their time would be an invaluable research tool. They could give a larger context to the disparate bits of surviving media and technology future historians would find.
