I'll be so damn glad that it's all over tomorrow. I'm planned on to locking them on safe box, so no one will be able to drink out of it. I'm sending those glasses to the future.

I have the UHURA Burger-King toy right here at my desk at work. She says "CAPTAIN WE'RE BEING HAILED". I'm hoping for the full sized version at the local adult store. I'll keep you posted...

I didn't get a whole set. Each time I went they were mostly sold out.

But I did get the Bones toy (actually I have 2 of him), which is the most important one for me.

Also got Kirk, the Kelvin and the communicator. The only other ones I wanted were Spock and The Enterprise.

The for the glasses I got Kirk, Spock and Uhura which are the 3 I wanted. So glad I got those!

I didn't think the Kirk looked like Pine either. Instead of Steve Guttenberg, I thought he looked a little like Matt Damon. Maybe the toy designer was upset that he didn't get the role.

I didn't really care for Uhura or the USS Kelvin either. Uhura's eyes have this painted red ring on them and the facial proportions seem way off. With the Kelvin, I just don't find the design very attractive.

But I did get the Bones toy (actually I have 2 of him), which is the most important one for me.

I wish I had gotten two McCoys. One for collection and one for my desk. I will pick up a McCoy action figure sometime instead.

Same here. Between her and my talking Kirk and Spock Bobbleheads my work desk is a noisy place. Luckily I work from home.

I just can't bring myself to go to BK to get ST shwag. I covet the display.

So how much longer we will be able to buy the glasses and the BK toys? Too bad this promotion has to end...

I got the call this morning from the manager of my local BK. Promotion ended today. I am now the proud owner of the stand up display. (She gave it to me in response to a customer service issue.) The display includes a set of glasses which I will leave in it. (No extra charge for the glasses either. That manager is now my new BFF.)
Current tally is: 2 sets still in the boxes and one set in the display.

^Really? That just seems to be something old, and something that they use when there is no movie to promote. I know my son grew out of it and he's only in the 5th grade.

Not getting the glasses. However, I do collect miniature starships and devices, so I picked up the ships, the tricorder and the communicator. The Klingon ship and the cop hoverbike were the last two that became available.

My Kirk went mia...have no idea where the hell he is... and after looking at him I didn't care because yeah I don't know who the hell that's supposed to be.....but I need need need Chekov and Prime spock...Need them dammit!!!!
