Building the Enterprise D

Has anyone attempted to build a 1:1 scale model of the Enterprise D in Minecraft? Looking for any assistance in gathering plans for an accurate build

I have seen on youtube exactly this, but I don't know if its still going on. I think it was being crowd-built too. Maybe check that out and see if they're still operating?

Hey just seeing this thread now, kinda late sorry about that. I'm actually a part of the build team on the Minetrek project, I'd be glad to answer any questions!

Hai, I'm one of the members of Minetrek, and I have worked on the Enterprise D scaled 1:1 by Minecraft logic in said server environment.
My advice is to take all known Galaxy class plans with a grain of salt, you will learn quickly why.
Also take into consideration the limitations of Minecraft itself. But there's content out their relating to that build and the older D build. As well as means of access to the server if you want to view ours.

Thank you all. Me and a friend (by ourselves in PS4 Minecraft) are already making great progress, we started at ground (made side and front view reference scaffolding to shape it) and after only 2 months we are already at Deck 36. Idk why an entire group working for years isn't already finished. We estimate completion within another 8 months at most. Step it up guys!!! (and good job so far)

Awesome! That's great to hear. And the reason we've taken so long is because we're actually on the third iteration of the ship. The original one from that famous video was completed many years ago, and now we're about to complete the newest version which was started about 3 years ago. It's also been upscaled quite a bit from the actual size of the ship in order for everything ti fit properly, so that certainly adds to construction time. We also ensure that literally every feasible detail is added to the ship, every pipe, conduit, structural member, everything is added. Each and every room is filled out and every external detail on the hull is fully thought out.

Not to mention the dozens of other ships we build. All the other Enterprises, Voyager, Defiant, Reliant, Discovery, Custom ships, hundreds of shuttles, and many many more haha.

The D takes some time, building, proofing her, designing etc.. etc.., she's undergone 4 refits so far, and I mean the new D, as new blocks and ideas come to light. the interior layout of the new enterprise D is done. However she's on hold like other prime builds pending server map mirgration.
