27.5 inch long apparently. But you will find that it is more ‘girthy’ than long, despite its 1:916 scale. More details here:

Well, I got a printed upside down lifeboat hatch which would not fit in to my model without being upside down. This is a screw cover life boat, the rest of the lifeboats are mounted below the hull and sealed in to place. I was talking to another person who is building this and they said that this must be from the other side of the saucer (a part that I am yet to build) as the holding lugs are reversed/mirrored on each side. At the moment, my only option is to cut off the pegs/lugs and glue the pod in place the right way around. But I will wait just in case I get another spare pod which has the correct alignment and fits in to place. I think that I get a load of star drive section escape pod screw covers of a similar alignment in the next issue and there are *usually* spares.

I cannot wait for this thing to be completed. I will have a beautiful model, hopefully worth all of the hard work and stress!

Yeah, I got a few “wrong” pieces when I built my BTTF DeLorean. Back then, I could just call Eaglemoss and they would send me a free replacement kit module. Not sure how this outfit will handle it, though.

I hope that there are extras and you don't have to go the "worst case scenario" route, where you cut off the attachment point and superglue into place in the proper orientation. I don't think you'll ever be taking it apart, but repairs to wiring and internal lighting is a real thing. Good Luck!

I think I'd use a small piece of sticky tape or similar rather than superglue, so you still have easier access to the screw.
