I guess you were talking about Gunn being in “She”. Expecting was the one where Cordelia becomes pregnant by a guy who served as Vessel for a demon.
Whoops. Yep. My bad.

^ well it’s Father’s Day, after all...
Also-- RE: The Prodigal-- have you seen Firefly? If so, did you notice Christina Hendricks in a very brief pre-Saffron (and pre-Mad Men, of course) role?
It's been so long since I've seen Firefly. I saw she was mentioned, but I didn't notice.

The Ring
This episode was ok, but it feels like a lot of shows that I watch have to do this slaves fight to the death thing. Voyager did it, Babylon 5 did it, Angel has an episode like this. It's pretty much the same story, the protagonist gets captured and forced to fight to the death. I did like Cordelia and Wesley having a big impact in the story though. Also we learn a little more about Wolfram and Hart, but other than that, this was an average episode.
She certainly has the right qualifications for the role.
I'm pretty convinced at this point that there is rule that every SFF show has to do fight club episode, and every mystery series has to do a horse racing episode. It's been so long since I've seen Firefly. I saw she was mentioned, but I didn't notice.
