I'm thinking sometime in Season 2 (since Karitas was blown up in Season 3). I remember Angel singing that. It's not "Judgement", as that was when he infamously sang "Mandy". I seem to recall him singing again when he desperately wanted some info on... Darla, I think?

So I'm going to guess "Dear Boy". I think that fits.

Let's have a go here. If my thoughts while reading the rest of the thread are anything to go by, my guesses will be way off though.

I'm thinking it's that scene where Giles scolds Buffy for not looking after Dawn. Is it "All the Way"?

Mmmhh... I don't think Giles came over to the Summer's residence in seasons 1 and 2 much, since Joyce didn't know what was going on back then. In season 4 Buffy was at college and Giles at home and in season 7 Giles wasn't allowed to hold cups or else we wouldn't jump to Giles=The First conclusions. Plus, the house was too full then anyway for a quiet talk. Although it does sort of have that s7 vibe. But hey, I must make a decision based on something now. So, let's cross s7 out.

So that leaves us with either season 3, 5, or 6. 3 doesn't feel right. If it's season 5, I guess it's after The Body. Perhaps "Forever"? If it's season 6, then obviously it must be before Giles leaves. So, let's stay close to my previous guess for s6: "Life Serial"?

So, by my mighty powers of deduction I end up with either "Forever" or "Life Serial"....
