Martok tried a near equivilent of this in "Once More Unto the Breach" with limited results as he had to turn around and run after hitting his first target.
The Breen Attack on Earth in "The Changing Face of Evil" definitely was an example of this with the Breen fleet being "mostly destroyed."
One on Cardassia? Not sure how effective that would have been. Cardassian Orbital Defense Platforms were there around the planet and one just assumes after the Chintaka debacle they fixed that "target your own power generator" flaw.

Very difficult. Prolly Cardassian HQ were hardened off and under ground. But the potential to at least do some psychological to the Dominion MIGHT have made it worth it, if the attack ships could have been radio controlled or drones. Hell, perhaps just trying to ram drones into Cardassian HQ.

It's not very likely either as DS9's setting was. Even though drones and automation is all the rage today, it wasn't 15 years ago when DS9 was around. So the Federation conversely didn't do drone attacks that much. To say nothing of sending people on suicide missions, which this would be. No matter how much damage they do to Cardassia, it's not going to effect the Jem'Hadar one bit either.

Seems the crew of the Ent used a drone shuttle to fool the Carddies, so I'm guessin smaller ships it coulda worked. Doolittle's Raid on Tokyo was NOT militarily a success, so much but helped the US' mood

Agreed, SF did not have the manpower to waste.
