Broken Bow - Endgame

Dane_Whitman said: Star Trek's continuity holds up remarkably well, all considering.

Right now I'm watching TOS season 1 after finishing Enterprise last week. ENT's season 4 really sets up things well for TOS, everything from having seen the ENT(mirror)-crew awed by a Connie's technology to the appearance of the flat-forehead Klingons. Watching Trek in chronological order really adds another dimension to the experience.
I couldn't agree more. I've been working my way through the franchise since January 2007. I'm currently midway through TNG Season 1. I generally try to get in 3 hours of Trek over the weekend. With ENT that was a 4 episode marathon, then just 3 in a sitting for TOS. I find this system really consistant and I'm back up to 4 thru TNG onwards. I broke the running order only once. Finding it less jarring to watch "In A Mirror Darkly" after "These Are The Voyages...", it blended in well followed by both TOS pilots.

Like others, I'm in need of some advice of where TNG S6 runs alongside DS9 S1 and then VOY when the time comes. This way of watching Star Trek I'd definately recommend, if you have the time and the means.

I wonder if there is a handy viewing-order list already out there somewhere...

I went through and created my own list based on stardates, airdates, movie release dates and inter-series references to in-universe events. At times, one or more elements conflict but it is very possible to put together a fairly decent timeline of episodes.

erastus25, that sounds wonderful -- did you make a list you could email? Just curious; if not, never mind. :)

I suppose where two series ran concurrently, it's a good idea to check the original airdates. Using that info to slot DS9 S1 episodes inbetween TNG S6 ones.

EDIT: As usual Memory Alpha has the answer!

They have all these worked out. For instance click on '2375' and then on 'Episodes'. Hey Presto!
