It doesn't involve Worf thinking about Jadzia, does it?
A Stitch in Time?
Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman
EDIT: Seeing Keith's post below, I should add, Garak Re: Paladine.
Lesser Evil -- Vaughn about Ruriko?
^OOoooo, very close KRAD, but not quite.
My first thought: Warpath?
Same series, but an earlier book. Actually, that goes for Lesser Evil even more.
Then I will go with my second thought: Twilight.
Yep, it was the very first sentence of the book actually. It was Vaughn thinking about Prynn as he watched her getting blasted out of her chair during the battle at the beginning of the book.
Guess it wasn't as easy as I thought.
Damn, this means I have to dig out a quote now, doesn't it?
Give me a few minutes...
Edit: Here we go.
"For a long moment, no words were spoken.
And then she said simply, 'One for the road?'
I smiled and accommodated her. It seemed only polite."
This one's a hard one.
I think we'll all need a clue for this one.
And I had sought to craft a memorable line. Oh, well....
^ It was a memorable line. I knew instantly as soon as I read it that it had to be Vaughn. Because Lesser Evil had the Ruriko flashbacks, I jumped to that first. Sometimes even my encyclopedic mind fails me....
Can you give us an itemized list of all those times?
Yup, the last three lines.
Damn, I had hoped it would be harder than that!
Okay, then, here we go.....
"You will expand your current habitat. You will harden the landing field to receive ore transports, and you will keep yourselves fit so you can work.
"You will work, or you will die."
Behind Enemy Lines?
Terok Nor #1 (Day of the Vipers is it?)
Left Hand of Destiny?
Separate names with a comma.
