Bringing back an old game - Name the TrekLit Quote

Corona?

i'm sure I've recently read this...

You are correct. Corona, the one ST novel written by now-famous SF novelist Greg Bear. (Polar. Bear. That's a joke, son.) An early novel that had a rather idiosyncratic take on aspects of Trek technology and continuity. (For instance, claiming Spock was in his 80s. How old would that have made Amanda??)

Ah yes, my self-indulgent burying of K'Ehleyr in Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. :)

Alright here's the next one from, IMHO, one of the most poignant moments in Trek lit...

"She stared at her cup of tea until she felt the threat of tears pass; it was ice cold before she felt ready to move on with her day."

Good luck!

Endgame, after Adm Janeway has visited Tuvok at Starfleet Medical and decides to go ahead with her audacious plan.
