Breakfast food for the discriminating TOS fan

cereal.jpg

This whole thing is so funny. Especially considering that my entry in that week's caption had the cereal name as "Tribbles and Bits" and the tagline as "Plenty for everyone." Only problem is that my Photoshop skills leave a lot to be desired. By the time that week's contest was judged, my entry had self-destructed and had the appearance of an empty post. And today when I tried to repost it here, all that I'm able to get is
Caption-2.gif
.

I wonder if the marketers of "Tribbles-n-Bits" will owe me any royalties if I'm ever able to repost my image? (However, with my current lack of success, they probably have nothing to worry about.) :)

Sorry, still having trouble with my Photoshop image. (Guess I need to take a Photoshop course.)

My thought is that it is as light as orange juice, smooth as silk and refreshing as a cool summer breeze.
You don't happen to work in advertising, do you?
Scotpens, that soup is hilarious! Did you photoshop that yourself?
Yes, I did it using a combination of Illustrator and Photoshop.

Ever wonder what plomeek soup tastes like? I imagine it's something like split-pea soup but with a strong bitter taste and a tinge of newly mown grass.

I use Photobucket to host my pictures. Uploading and linking to images on Photobucket is so easy, a trained chimp could do it. So if you're having any problems using Photobucket, call a chimp wrangler.

Back in high school (1985-86), I had to create a cereal box as an art project. I came up with Cap'n Kirk's Krunch: little insignias of corn. The illustration was of a bowl of the cereal in front of the viewscreen where a Klingon ship was shown. "Kirk's" hand was holding the bowl and there were two dialog balloons:

"Cap'n, the Klingons are attacking!"
"Let Mr. Spock handle it..."

I got an A on that one. I wish I had it, but she kept all of the good ones.

It seems like you're posting the pathway to the file as it sits on your own computer's harddrive. You'll need to upload your image to a public website or personal Flickr account, then link that url.

It seems that the chimp wrangler did the trick. Therin and scotpens, thank you both. :)

Anyway, here's the caption contest entry I was trying to repost:
