Some of you may or may not remember waaaaay back in the day, circa May 2003, when several of the posters from this BBS registered at Brannon Braga's website, a website which we later learned only existed for uberfans to kiss Braga's ass.
Those of us that signed up were very respectful. Seriously! Those of you were here back then can vouch for that.
But we quickly learned that anything other than glowing praise for Brannon or his work was met with quick censorship, deletion, and a complete ban of the poster. If the post said anything other than "Episode X was great! Brannon is great! Another A+!" it was deleted.
I know that I can be a cranky curmudgeon from time to time, but I was honestly walking on eggshells because I figured -- correctly -- that my reputation would precede me.
There was instant chaos. I was banned. The entire site shut down for over 48 hours. In short, all hell broke loose. Multiple threatening e-mails were sent to my e-mail account. I responded by -- foolishly -- trying to reason with the sender. An unstable woman named Trekmom then showed up at this board and posted altered versions of my e-mails in an attempt to make me look bad. It wasn't pretty. But it was great entertainment.
When the site eventually went back up, I apologized to all of Brannon Braga's fans. I told both of them that I was very sorry.
Anyway, now that "Enterprise" is over and behind us and Brannon doesn't seem to be providing us with any more quality entertainment at the moment, it seems that he has decided to give back.
It would seem that he is trying to make peace by offering respite for the pain he has caused us.
What am I talking about?
See for yourself.

I give you...
Thank you, Brannon. You finally made good.
And apology accepted.
