I think Mike actually bullshitted about the attic's size, so he could sneak up there and get away from her and the kids once in a while. Obviously, he could never do that in the den. They always found him there.

That statement was there from when I first made that post.



Yeah, Mike could've been bullshitting about the attic.

But considering the size of it and that it had a regular stair access (rather than a drop-down ladder) it made the Brady home a three-story house.

And, as I'm sure you know, the exterior location was only a ranch.

But, the internal physics and layout of the Brady home is a wonder for the ages. Best to just consider it the Tardis and leave it at that.
