give him a pint and some love when he gets back, sounds like he just wants to go about it as a normal friday
You know, some relationships just aren't the same as others. I know several people who have been in relationships for many years where the couples still lived apart and only saw each other a couple times a week, and they were perfectly happy.give him a pint and some love when he gets back, sounds like he just wants to go about it as a normal friday
He'd go back to his house... Yeah I'm starting to think, 4 years and still seperate houses... Can't stand the cold war, going to ring him and do lunch.
Good planor bad plan? Either way can't cope with not knowing....
I have a friend in Roslindale who's married to a guy in Maryland. I don't get it, but it works for them.^Hell, my grandma and grandpa lived apart for the majority of their marriage! They didn't move back in together until they were in their 60s!
Ok, all advice taken and heeded. Thank you. We did the most simple thing and talked. I apologised for organising a birthday surprise and he apologised for not appreciating what it meant to me. We're now going out for a curry (I hate curry but like bombay potatos and naan bread and wine) then to the pub on his birthday - together![]()
And talk of buying my flat, renting it out and moving into his house.
Moral of this story - talk is goodOh god and compromise is good too!! I admit
Also sulking for 2 days does not get you a new handbag, but I'd rather still have a lovely boyfriend than a brand new black leather handbag, sac design, really huge.. Ok then maybe a couple of more days sulking
Thanks guys![]()
I love a story with a happy ending! Get the handbag for a house-warming present![]()

Personally, I don't think this is very nice. If an SO did something like that to me, especially after four years of doing something special, I would be questioning the existence of the relationship....
