I think I just explained it.

I think it tops out somewhere above 600 million. Which is fine.Certain folks have spent two years pissing on Gunn and his Superman movie at every single opportunity. So, yes there is a certain amount of giddy from the folks who decided to wait and give the film a chance and getting to see it perform well. Not because they dislike Man of Steel, but because they dislike the folks who are its most ardent supporters.
This isn't hard. I personally don't see it getting to $625 million, but it would be tasty if it hits that $670 million mark without robust international numbers.
Aren't some of these Spoilers?> Audiences clamoring for a proper MCU F4 for years
> Hire four of the most uninspired actors with zero chemistry to play beloved characters
> Change gender of Silver Surfer just because
> Introduce Franklin Richards in first reboot
> Make freaking Galactus a one-time weak-ass villain just like Kang and Ronan the Accuser
> Kill off Invisible Woman and bring her back to life just like the F4 from 2007
> Surprise-Pikachu-Face.jpg when movie bombs.
