Bottom Five Episodes

Not going to list Shades of Gray, as that's not so much a bad episode as a non-episode for me.

In roughly increasing order of terribleness:
- Conspiracy. I love the first scene, the meeting in the volcano, but from then on, it devolves into a cliché plot and gratuitous gore. Apparently, many disagree with me on that one, though.

- Sub Rosa. For reasons already mentionned.

- The game. So stupid.

- Disaster. Boring "disaster movie" episode (it's even in the name) with all the clichés of a very formulaic genre of movies, including the always annoying emergency birth.

- Power play. Once again, an episode that boldly goes where B-movies have frequently gone before, without even improving the delivery.
DS9 would latter do it too, for some reason, but adding religious manicheism in the mix for added shittiness.

1. Force of Nature
... Man of the People
... Aquiel
... Samaritan Snare
... Shades of Gray

I’m leaning heavier on later seasons, as they should have known better by then, and there’s a primitive charm to older ones.

I may be flamed for this as it seems to always be a favorite but I thought Inner Light was kind of slow and lame. Picard being the episodes only saving grace in my opinion. Episodes I truly hated though, Tasha Yars Death to an oil spill, the game I can’t stand probably because it’s shot from primarily Wesley’s point of view who’s one of the lamest characters. Some of the episodes with Q lose their replay value. Oh and their is one scene in the episode believe in season two where Enterprise discovers only two life forms on a planet. After the team led by Ritker beams to their home he leads the charge in typical Ritker chest touting fashion then springs a trap and is launched into the air. I like to rewatch that scene over and over again it always makes me burst out laughing. It’s just such a goofy looking fluttering Ritker. Ritkers constantly placing his bulge, legs spread real wide behind poor data or an unsuspecting ensign is classic comedy as well. Oh and one of my least favorite eps is the one where they save the weird looking race from a super volcano.

Why do you call him "Ritker"?

Code of Honor - pretty racist and a nonsense plot on top

The Game - the entire crew gets orgasms from crappy VR

The Icarus Factor - Booooooooooring, I don't even hate it, at least the bad episode still make me feel something.

Aquiel - The dog did it ... seriously?

The Vengeance Factor - Riker is too lazy to restrain a woman half his size so he kills her instead.

Honorable mentions:
Sub Rosa
Up The Long Ladder
Justice
Liaisons
Masks
Cost Of Living
