Boring Movies That Put You To Sleep

Man of Steel BORING and far too LOUD NOISY!

Although most people didn't notice it, I think it was the music that really dragged MoS down - I found it really plodding and monotonous. If the music had had a bit more colour and excitement, it would have lifted the whole thing.

Agreed. After watching it again, I think the real problem with The Man of Steel was that Nolan and Goyer assumed that Batman and Superman had the same tone.

What I posted about desert movies putting me to sleep upthread: I watched A Million Ways To Die in the West last night and fell asleep off and on after about an hour. I'm wondering if maybe earth tone colors just relax me enough to make me doze off :(

I hope that you don't work for UPS.

Father Goose---A Cary Grant movie that I've tried to watch a least 6-7 times, but ALWAYS knocks me out. It's part of a Cary Grant DVD collection I have.

LOTR---Ugh! I remember when I saw this in the theater, a friend dragged me to see Fellowship of the Ring and I couldn't stop looking at my watch.

12 Monkeys---It was the first time I fell asleep at the movies.

1492 (Christopher Columbus movie)---boring as hell.

The Heat (Melissa McCarthy/Sandra Bullock movie)---got dragged to this by my wife and mutual friends. I couldn't take the estrogen oozing out of the movie so I laid my head back, relaxed and successfully zonked out.

Man of Steel---My head kept nodding past the halfway mark.

So you've never made it through a TNG episode?

BEIGE ALERT!

Hey, I like that picture. It's a charming little comedy with Cary Grant cast against type as a grubby, alcoholic beach bum. Never found it boring. YMMV.

^ Points for the Things To Come quote in your sig! Though I bet a few here will complain that one sent them to sleep too...
