Hey, I saw Episode 1 30 times at the theater! Yen in first 20 in first run, and 10 more at a dollar theater. I think I went and saw it every night. Probably why I'm burned out on the movie to this day! I was able to see Trek '09 3 times. Imax, regular, and dollar theater. I wanted to see it more, but couldn't afford it. Another record for me is Jurassic Park. I saw that like 11 times when that came out.

The most I've ever seen a movie in a theater was five times for Clerks II, and that was more because I kept being around people who were just about to go see it and were willing to buy me a ticket.

Not that I didn't love the living hell out of it.

If I really, really love a movie I'm not against seeing it two or three times in a theater, but those films are definitely becoming more and more rare.
