This is awesome, great work NCC-1701. :techman:
Thanks, fellow ASS. ;)

I turned it into an av that I'd like to wear if you don't mind.

Of course, wear it. But I think Sam is already wearing it, too.

NCC-1701, any inside tips on how you did this?
Well, several minutes in Photoshop extracting all the elements I want to animate. And then it more or less works like a flip-book. I make the single frames and arrange them in Fireworks. Does that help? :(

NCC-1701[/b] by way of PM for the exact same thing. I think we should all use it as our avatars. Star Trek XI fans unite!

Bah! If I wasn't already totally thrilled with my current avatar, I'd join you. :p

Maybe a tiger with William Shatner shooting PEZ.

I'm wondering if it needs Cookie Monster eyes, either on top of or just underneath the saucer section. (With one of the two pupils swirling around.) Too much?

What is that in the lower left corner? Looks like a tiny Battlestar Galactica.
You have a sharp eye, Sir. Yes, that's the Galactica. I added it in response to your wish for more dirt upthread. It's also a visual "Fuck you!" to all the people constantly whining about Trek XI looking just like the new Battlestar Galactica.

I love how Shatner closes his mouth when he's not firing Pez candy, and then opens it again to "open fire". I could watch that all day! It's mesmerizing.

You know what else it needs?

Rockets.

And a 120-year-old Captain Archer clinging to T'Pol's implants, which have been used to replace the saucer sensor dome.

I was originally going to suggest that Slim Pickens should be riding on the back of the secondary hull, but I'm not sure if there's room for him anymore.

Oh, forget that; any chance we can make this the official image of the Trek XI forum?

Agreed! 100%! :guffaw:

Akiraprise, I was negotiating with NCC-1701 by way of PM for the exact same thing. I think we should all use it as our avatars. Star Trek XI fans unite!
Make it so. :techman:

If there was a way to make it the background for the forum I'd do it.

Too much, yeah.

BTW, finally we have something for the next time someone posts the Koernerprise. We'll just post this image and say "No, THAT'S the new Enterprise".

I think that, in the spirit of ST's inclusionary vision, we should have some Japanese lanterns to honor Sulu. :rommie:
Or curb feelers & huge rims on the bad-ass thug Klingon D-7. :klingon:
Maybe turn the Gem Hadar ship into a rice-burning pocket rocket with neon ground effects. :techman:
Don't stop me, I'm on a roll here.... :cardie:

That is a thing of beauty.

Ok, fuck it. I call dibs on the goolgy version! :guffaw:

Do you have a full-size version with the eyes? I hate those Koernerprise threads. :techman:
This thread is now made of awesome. :guffaw: :guffaw:

*saves GooglySombreroPrise in av and full-size versions*

"Its been a long time since I delivered a baby. I hope I got this one off to a good start" :D

A baby, or a monster?

This is why the Internet was invented.

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I haven't changed my AV in 3 years, but I feel as I was present at the birth - it is only fitting that I honor her in this way.
