Blue Thunder vs. Airwolf

Did you mean to type Star Trek when you typed Battlestar Galactica? It's a little sci-fi show, maybe you've heard of it. What I haven't heard is a great number of nerds talking about BSG vs SW. :techman:

The question is, which is better? If not, who would win in an aerial duel to the death?

Ah, it's back to 1985 and schoolyard discussions. ;)

No question: Airwolf. It was Knightrider in the sky, while Blue Thunder was basically just a modern attack helicopter in the vein of the Apache with some cool toys and sensors. BT would be an inferior aircraft today, Airwolf would still be an impossibility.
 
I think Airwolf takes this one too. KITT has limited armaments, and Airwolf wouldn't have any trouble staying out of the way. And all Airwolf has to do is flip KITT over with a well-placed explosion.

On the other hand, both have pretty fantastic electronic jamming abilities. Airwolf's are operated by the pilot, while KITT operates his own, so KITT might have the edge there. Maybe the battle would come down to the two of them sitting there, not moving or fighting, but duking it out electronically.

Is there something I'm not aware off re: resurrecting old threads. I think they've been several over the last couple of weeks. I thought it was frowned upon.

AND can go supersonic.

And somewhere there a series of fan-films about an imaginary third season, where The Lady is armed with a laser. :lol:
