Bleach - Anime Disscussion (Spoilers)

Haven't watched 267 yet, but I have to agree that Orihime needs a long overdue power upgrade.

Whether it's reflected in her self-confidence improving to the point where her powers are actually potent for once or an actual shift in overall powers. The girl needs to be able to hold her own somewhat.

Otherwise, she's the liability she thinks she is.

This was the mix of manga “canon” and filler I have been hoping for! The Chad and Renji fight is pure filler but it fit into the storyline perfectly! I loved their teamwork. I loved the comedy also because I know how serious this story is going to get.

The Ulquiorra vs. Ichigo fight was only slightly longer than the manga. So far I am very happy with the animation and how it is put together. I think Orihime`s part here worked much better than in the manga. It had more impact on me.

Ishida is coming… I love this story so much also because of the part he is playing in it. :)
 
Yeah, I had a feeling that the Chad/Renji fight was filler based.

It's gotten to the point where it just kind of stands out in the episodes.

I'm willing to suffer through it though, as long as the main arc keeps delivering.

And like you said, if they're going to do it anyways, it wasn't that bad.

I was sort of impressed to to see that Ichigo could still hold off Uqiora even being distracted by concern for Orihime being assaulted by Yamy and the two Aracanar wenches and not take any damage. Orihime continues to just sit there and take all that abuse though, it's getting annoying. Stand up for yourself girl! I think she's afraid to use Tsubaki though because she doesn't want him to get hurt again and that's holding her back. I believe one of her little flying minions mentioned earlier that her powers were related to her emotions. When she doubts herself and is emotionally confused she's weak, so I guess she needs more self-esteem in order to work the offense side of her powers.

Ishida is there now, so that should make their odds a bit better. Speaking of the little short after the preview was amusing, showing the Aracanar stuck to wall of the tower hanging by her pants on one of Ishida's arrows. :lol:
 
Jesus, does anyone else really start to hate Inoue?

Melony was right, she IS insane. Insane and spineless, and the latter is the worst.

Almost makes me want to cut her up into pieces myself, or watch it happen.

Seriously, there is no shame in not being powerful enough to defeat someone. There is shame in not even having the friggin' faculties to flee when you have the chance, let alone fight back (maybe while your fleeing.) Just sitting there and taking it is just pathetic.

Seriously, she creates a shield against Ulquiorra; I expect her to fight the Arrancar bitches. She probably could defeat those two, but instead she doesn't even bother resisting them.

This was a good mix of “canon” and filler again. This time the Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra fight also had extras and definitely what happened around Orihime, Yammy and the two Arrancar bullies.

Unfortunately what Orihime did or more accurately didn`t do doesn`t contradict at all with what happened in the manga. I noticed that the previous episode pointed out what Ulquiorra and Grimmjow said, that saving Orihime won`t do much good because she is one of us (something like that). That is one possibility and, no, I don`t know the answer because so far also the manga hasn`t given an explanation. A factor is certainly that Orihime comes from a broken family with domestic violence and that she was badly bullied at school until Tatsuki became her protector and when she is not around it is Ichigo. But nevertheless, I have seen that Orihime can be strong and brave, that she is not a warrior but that she can be a very effective protector of her friends. Watching this episode I felt sorry for her but I also got pretty annoyed and frustrated again.

By the way, the little short after the preview IS canon. Tite Kubo left a doodle at the end of volume 40 showing Loly hanging with Ishida`s arrow above her butt in her clothes with the words “Loly`s present situation”. Nice – I am happy that the anime included this! I loved Ishida`s return and this shows again what a gentleman he is. :)
 
Well, people in Bleach don't even die even after getting steamrolled through buildings or having their innards eviscerated so I'm sure she wouldn't die from a fall even if they hadn't showed us. Still it was amusing.:lol:

Kurosaki Kun! Kurosaki Kun!..... That's virtually the only thing she's said for the last 3 seasons. I want her dead.

Otherwise, the Ichigo/Ulquiora fight continues to be fun to watch. Cool that Ishida is back.
 
Ishida is back and handed out some Quincy Pwnage to Yammy. I liked the way he "Batman"-ed the battle by setting up all fo the traps to draw Yammy into them. The Omake was funny as it showed Ishida using sele schneider as a handsaw, LOL.

Oh and Rukia got some much needed backup!
 
I would have rather seen her handle that dude on her own though. How in the heck is she ever going to get a darn Bankai if everyone keeps saving her? Sode no Shirayuki needs to start pulling her weight. :shifty:

Anyhow, I laughed at Ishida outsmarting Yammy......not like that's a hard thing to do...:p

I guess I'll be the first to say it. Uqiora's released form looks kinda stupid.

I laughed when Ishida said to Yammy that he is as dense as Kurosaki. No way, Ichigo has never been THAT dense! :) Ishida vs. Yammy was my favourite part of the episode. Only the part with the Arrancar mine is canon. Everything else was filler. I think the anime version was definitely much better than the manga!

The Omake was hilarious. Ishida as carpenter using his weapons as saw and nails. I only wonder where he got the big hammer from but we know that his cape is hiding all kinds of things.:D

This part of the Rukia fight was filler. I think next week we get the canon part. I had no problem with it that Rukia got some help. She fought bravely and well but there were simply too many to fight for her alone. Rukia is a good, skilled fighter but she has never been one of the most powerful. I don`t think she is strong enough to achieve Bankai and I am fine with that.
 
Ishida kun! Ishida kun! Kurosaki kun! PLEASE!!!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Looks like the Ichigo-Ulquiorra fight is gonna be going up a notch. nice :)

I imagine it won't be too long before Bleach/Batman parodies start showing up on youtube featuring Uqiora. :)

Uquiorra's release was awesome, and his special cero.....


I still have my bets on Sexy glassed McQuincy to mop the floor with his hollow butt.
 
Damn, that was an ass whoopin! Ulquiorra's second release was much better. Orihime is no longer a mute! I love when Bleach gets good:D
