Which would imply if a human did name the two worlds, then that surveyor/linguist knew that Romulans were Vulcans, when it's supposed to be a big secret.

Enterprise's "Mine Field" was the first time "we" heard some one say "Romulan" out of/via one of Hoshi's Translators...

It's a little odd that Vulcan was named after a Roman God, and Romulus was named after the were wolf founder of Rome, yet neither planet had overt connections to Earth at that point.

In the ST universe the natives use other names, when dealing with the Federation they use the Terran names, shows how Terrancentric the Federation is.

So. what have we established here? Spock was green. Yes, right from the makeup man's mouth he was green. Many Star Trek alien worlds have two, three or more races or sentient species. All of them have different cultures and languages. Lefties despise those who succeed while the weak and inferior fail. We've established a lot. And every counter point raised was crushed into dust. And, we witnessed a spectacular meltdown. All because Vulcans would most likely be dark green, but not brown.
