Spoilers Black Mirror - Season 6

I think Brooker is trying to move away from the specifically tech aspect. Loch Henry is still about the media and technology does play a part, albeit its analogue tech. It is satirising Netflix again, or rather Netflix's True Crime docs. Funnily enough I'm just listening to a podcast about season 6 and someone made an interesting point, if you look at National Anthem, the v first episode, that's not remotely about tech, yes it has a social media aspect but that's all.

Going off on a tangent another issue with Beyond the Sea struck me this morning.

Why didn't NASA send the robots into space and keep the human beings down on the ground?

I did, however, get a HOWL out of Demon79. OMG, I didn't think anyone but me even remembered Boney M even existed!

The Boney-M music, Garb's look, and the two lead actors... I was just chortling and laughing the whole way through. When the air raid sirens went off at the end, I was like... Yes! She's not crazy!
For me it was the payoff to learning who they were after the Rasputin reference in Doctor Who. :)

No story there, if they did that! ;)

Seventh season confirmed!

The hit sci-fi show created by Charlie Brooker returned to screens earlier this year after a four-year hiatus, garnering record viewing numbers on Netflix. According to the streamer, it reached the Top 10 in 92 countries and spent 4 weeks in Netflix’s global top 10 English-speaking TV.

No casting has been confirmed yet for Season 7 but Variety understands the show is set to go into production later this year with Brooker, Annabel Jones and Jessica Rhoades believed to be returning as executive producers. Plot details and number of episodes are still being kept under wraps.

I'm hoping we'll get more Red Mirror, too.

As curious as I am about the Callister sequel, I'm still hoping for a "Hated in a Nation" sequel. I need more DCI Karin Parke and Detective Blue Coulson, dangit!
