Yo. The main reason I posting this thread is because story wise, Bionicle was a mixture of science fiction and fantasy. This isn't about the toys, it about the story.
Since this is the Science Fiction and Fantasy thread, I've hope I've placed it properly/
Since the rumors of Bionicle's return in 2015 have been ramped up to extremes, I got to ask, story wise, will it be as complex?
Bionicle was a great toyline sure, but it was real benefit was the story. Starting off a mysterious fantasy story, and evoloved into a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy.
And Teridax. As a villian, he was glorious. His manipulations were amazingly epic. His massive plan to take over Mata Nui's body was awesome, and it showed his intelligence.
Maybe you guys will laugh at me for talking about a story within a Lego Franchise, but it's the truth. Bionicle had some great story ideas, and it's sad that the ending was so lackluster in the end.
I just hope the reboot keeps the same writer.
What about you guys? Did you ever learn about the Bionicle story? Is it interesting to you guys? Tell me your opinioins and such.
