News Billy Dee Williams to Return in Episode 9

Not really relevant to this topic, but it's about Billy Dee Williams, so I'll post it all the same:
No need. A return to Bespin would just be one of those moves that makes the universe smaller and more insular. Bespin was Lando's gig 30 years ago. He left at the same time the Empire was ruthlessly taking it over- I doubt it was much of a going concern for anyone after that, or that he'd ever want it back.
I think it would be interesting to see what new venture Lando is into on the outer rim 30 years later- a commercial venture. Lando was, at heart, a businessman. I'll be disappointed if they present him as some Saw Guerrera type character who's been running around with a blaster in his hand all this time. It could be that Lando is one of the few people in the galaxy with the business connections, money, and influence to really help the Resistance from behind the scenes. How he gets caught up in it all again is up to the screenwriters, I suppose.
But in any case, I think Bespin was a done deal for Lando back in 1980.
It's about time, Lando(Billy Dee Williams) should have been in TFA and TLJ too.
He deserves to be in it. Actually, they would be foolish not to include him since the character was so popular in the last Han Solo movie.
Williams' appearances in Rebels as Lando were quite fun.
I was sorry he really wasn't seen too much past the early part of the show. Seemed like they were setting him up to show up throughout the series.
Yeah, he got name-dropped quite a bit, too.

I never thought we'd see BDW as Lando again. In discussions with some close friends about this trilogy I suggested he'd be back only after Carrie Fisher died. My assertion was that they were going to give the SW Trinity lead characters each a big send off.

Han, Luke, Leia and Lando all lived in the Legends EU while poor Chewbacca had a planet dropped on him and died. They're reversing it now so Chewbacca lives and the others die. RIP Lando.
I believe that was outright confirmed.
Maybe Kerri Russell now runs the day to day operation of Bespin and Lando is retired and living in a mansion with Lobok(I think that is his name) somewhere taking it easy only to find himself dragged into the adventure when he hears about the deaths of Luke,Solo and Leia.
