Bill Bailey - Dr Qui

Big Bill Bailey fan. Heard it a couple of years ago, laughed a lot. Exterminee-vous! Exterminee-vous!

BB is a great comedian and musician, a rare talent.

In one of his shows (Part Troll, I think), he had a head mic on, and described himself as looking like a Klingon motivational speaker, followed by suitable Klingon words. And was recently immortalised in SFX magazine - in a discussion about the next JJTrek movie, he's in the background, dressed as Kilngon with... Brian Blessed! That alone would be worth the price of admission!

And I do believe he named his daughter Ezri, I read somewhere.

Hey, that's a great song. Very inspired. He also summed up the basic premise and the Daleks' dliemma pretty well.

Somehow, I now really want to see a French version of the show, which is done in the relaxed manner of the song. A bit like the OSS 117 films by Jean Dujardin, who would also make a good Docteur Qui.

Bill Bailey's great, one of the few comedians around who doesn't need to base his entire act on being vile and attacking others...actually I don't think he bases any of his act on that!

That's brilliant. I watched as many of the parts as I could find on youtube, since no one seems to sell or rent this in the US, dang it.

Playing "The Swan" with cowbells was hilarious.

Part Troll gets played regularly in my house. If you haven't seen the whole thing, get a copy, you won't regret it.
