I wish RTD was involved, but I liked David Llewellyn's Torchwood work that I read, and most of James Goss's as well, so this should be in good hands.

Here's my question.

Is this the same as the BBC Radio 4 series that Barrowman was speaking of a few months ago, or is this in addition to that?

Seems to be the same, from a couple of reports I read. Not 100% sure though. What's struck me is how unfussed Barrowman sounds when he talks about it. Like he genuinely believed another TV show could happen, and this is sort of the wake up call that this is the closest he's going to get, barring a guest star on the main show.

Never got a chance to see 'Miracle Day', eventually I will find it. Torchwood was such an interesting concept that had no reset button like most- events walked them into a corner and the dynamics of the show changed a lot. I really liked the first season but the mini-series that followed seemed to cross a number of burning bridges..
