Big Brother Season 26 (2024) / Survivor Season 47 (2024)

My point is that in the BB house, it's not enough to apologize to him. She needs to make it clear to the other 14 people that she apologized and didn't mean it the way he took it. Otherwise, they'll tend to believe his spin.

But it would have been best if she'd kept her mouth shut in the first place.

Oh god. Episode four.

Not everyone was affected. I didn't even know about it until I read accounts of people complaining.

Because BB AI is a voice actor with a badly animated blue person.

This might be the least likable cast in years. Also I hate the AI Arena, all it does it give a big advantage to people good at comps who are terrible at the social game.

Angela might be a paranoid psycho but Matt is still a jock douche who intimidates people and then plays a 'Who me' act.

When someone uses a winkie face smilie, at the very least, they are being sarcastic. :)

Matt is dumb and has no idea what he is doing, or able to see any steps ahead of where he is standing, but his babies with MacKenzie will be tall and beautiful.

Angela is crazy.

I predict Angela will be on the block next week. That whole meltdown was insane.

I kept flashing back to "Orange is the New Black" whenever she said her cruel name for Matt, but then I wondered if she was a Netflix sort of person (Whatever the heck that means?) so It's probably just a coincidence.

I totally get what she meant by crazy eyes but it was funnier when she was saying it in private and not chanting it like a high school bully.

For a while it looked like Matt was going to survive by building a majority by convincing people he already had a majority. That would be truly dominant social game but I’m glad he didn’t pull it out. I think I’m rooting for Quinn now. “You’ve known him one week!” I don’t think he’s a bad person but I think he desperately needed a humbling which he got.

I've been able to watch Thursday's show (Global has been surprisingly prompt this year with posting the new episodes).

It's nice to see that the vote wasn't unanimous. Unless someone is egregiously horrible, I tend to be suspicious of those, like it's scripted somehow.

I wonder what will happen first: Angela's eviction or Angela being removed from the game for saying something so inappropriate that it will be against the rules.

I'm also rooting for Quinn.

Anyway, impressions of the house itself this time? It's actually pretty nice, mostly (the have-not room looks like a nightmare, of course). Hopefully they don't do something weird to it.

I just read the Hamsterwatch site (didn't realize there would be spoilers for Sunday's episode). Oh, well. If it's not who gets voted out, I'm not going to worry about it.

Usually when the vote is unanimous it's because people who disagreed with the vote knew they were outvoted and didn't want to make themselves a target.

I don't see Angela being removed from the game. The only times people have ever been removed from the game it was for violence (Scott from season 4, Willie Hantz, Dick), or for saying an outright racial slur (Which I don't see Angela doing). Being an asshole and making someone feel bad has never been a rule violation.

I do like Quinn, I'm also starting to like Cedric and Chelsea, also T'Kor. Which when I type it makes it sound like a Klingon name. I think my early pick to win is going to be Cedric though there's no obvious favorite. I also still like Makensy and Leah, though I'm not sure they'll be able to live down their early alliance choices. And I like Cam. This cast is growing on me other than a handful of very unlikable people.

At least she doesn't have a grin on her face 24/7.

Apparently she wastes food, doing some weird kind of chef thing? Maybe it's time to bring back the food competitions.

I never liked the have not thing. I get that a food competition doesn't add drama and takes up time on the show which is probably the reason they stopped doing it. But picking people to torture every week just doesn't add anything either.

I wish they'd kept the Battle of the Block from Derrick's season.+

If there's unlimited food, wasting food doesn't matter?

Wasting rice in the early seasons of survivor however led to crisis and revolution!

Well, I'm pleased at the outcome of the Veto competition.

Lisa is clueless.

Angela... yikes. I was honestly thinking she was either going to quit or be removed for having repeated psychological meltdowns. If this is how she is outside the game, I pity her family and anyone else who has to be around her.

Yep, the spectre of the Cookout alliance will haunt this show for a long time.

Still rooting for Quinn.
