I've seen him on Black-ish and The Nightly Show recently.Liked this episode. The stuff with Leonard and Sheldon trying to get their hands on the liquid helium was great, and it was nice seeing Michael Rapaport again (I think the last time I saw him in something was in the 90s, propably "Kicked in the Head"). Parsons and Rapaport were fantastic together. The parts with everybody else "trying to find a date for Amy" was pretty funny, too.

So my DVR cut off the last few minutes. What was the bit with Sheldon watching STAR TREK about? I caught only a glimpse of it.

Did you see the bit where Sheldon went to Amy's place with the ring?

I saw the bit where Sheldon saw Amy kissing the other guy. Then I caught a glimpse of some sort of epilogue that featured a clip from TOS. Not what that was about.
Sheldon moving in with Howard's mother makes NO sense story wise or character wise.

It was the scene from Where No Man... where Spock tells Kirk that his (Spock's) opinion of what to do about Gary is better because he has no emotions to get in the way. Sheldon, poopoos Spock's assertion, having now realized that he (Sheldon) was wrong about that.
