Beyond Good & Evil remake!

Just came across this story and thought I'd share the good news.

For those who don't know; BG&E is a fantastic game that basically sunk without a trace when it was first released back in '03. Since then it's gained what I suppose you could call a cult following from those that discovered this little gem in the bottom of the bargain bins and there's even been sporadic news of a sequel, including a teaser and what looks like leaked concept footage.

I bought this shortly after it was originally released, but I'm ashamed to say -- despite having started it at least twice -- I've never finished it.

I never finished it either, but I love the game, and they had plans for a trilogy, so I hope that happens now!

^I have a sneaking suspicion that this may be Ubisoft's way of testing the sales potential of a possible sequel and/or a relatively cheap way of priming said market.

Yeah, i read ithis yesterday as well...
And it will be in HD, like the God Of War Collection...
And in related news, more PS2 games will get a similair treatment on the PS3, like the Prince Of Persia Trilogy and the Mortal Kombat Kollektion amongst others...

French site Jeux Video has obtained what is believed to be box art of the unannounced Prince of Persia Trilogy and Mortal Kombat Kollection. Furthermore, it also reportedly has release date information for Splinter Cell Trilogy, Rayman Trilogy and Tom Clancy's Trilogy (Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six); all for PS3. According to the site's retail source, Mortal Kombat has an alleged launch date of November 18, while the rest are dated November 4.

I'll give it a shot when it comes out. I was thinking about purchasing it back in the day, but the opportunity never presented itself. I guess now is my chance to make things right

about time! such an underrated game, now we need Mischief Makers 2 , FF7 for the 360, and Fallout 4 and i'll be happy

No mention of a PC version of the remake. :(

I played BG&E for the first time last year, after picking it up during a Steam sale. I really enjoyed it.

I'm hoping it'll get a PC port on Steam or something eventually since I don't own either an XBox or a PS3. Regardless I still consider this good news; if it sell well then i think the odds of the sequel getting moved up a gear with defiantly increase.
