Vulagr.. thanks for your answer.

All evolution is is change over time. it is the idea that all life changed over time, that all life today had common ancestry after millions of years of incremental changes.

Yes, I am aware that evolution is about how life diversifies.

I am familiar with some of the materials presented on it.

Thanks.

the reason I brought up evolution is that the tone of your original post seems to in some way diss science and its methods. I could be wrong, but that's the interpretation I got. So i brought up evolution because most people that reject evolution seem to have a disdain for science and its methods in favor of what they want to believe. But let's not forget that science, and the scientific method, is the most consistently reliable way for discerning fact from fantasy that we have, and for learning what is real.

They didn't generalize, you just chose to read into it things that aren't there:

...possibly planning to break it up...

...an affair is a definite possibility...

... “It could easily be a sign of cheating,” ...
Acknowledging that it's a possibility is perfectly sensible, and if you are communicating well with your partner, you shouldn't have to guess or assume why they're trying to get in shape.

If anything, a study like this just dupes stupid people into feeling more skeptical at their partner's every move.

I think you would notice/experience distance and lack of intimacy long before a sudden diet or workout regimen would tip you off (that is, if you have any understanding of your partner at all).

I'll have you know that I wore yoga pants.

Well, if you really do lose interest in your husband, send me a PM :)

I keed!

My girlfriend and I have both been working on getting into better shape. Clearly this is all about finding new partners.

Yeah, my boyfriend and I are going to the gym together. That might mean that we want to share, I think.
