Hey Starfleet Engineer, no worries. Golf was the only sport I was ever kind of good at. It's hard to watch though, I'd rather just play.

Tennis, without a doubt. Tennis at least involves running. It's an athletic competition between two people and is exciting to watch. Golf is a gentlemen's activity that's fun to play if you've retired.

Tennis. Despite its proponents' best sophistry in support, golf is a game, not a sport.

I prefer golf. Since I don't play either one, I had to go with the viewing experience. Either in person or on TV, golf lets you see a lot of different competitors in a short space of time, it's easy to follow, and there is great anticipation before important shots. Tennis is okay, but there is no great camera angle to watch it from, and the scenery does not change much.

Tennis for playing and for watching. Tennis is one of few sports I could watch an awful lot of on TV without getting bored.

Definitely golf. I usually play 3-4 times a week, and I'm already getting bummed out because the season is coming to an end. I used to play tennis quite a bit, but I haven't played in years (I don't even know anyone that still plays). I liked playing tennis, but I'm a fanatic when it comes to playing golf.

As for watching on TV, I don't care for either, but I'd choose golf over tennis.

I can certainly understand preferring to play golf, but to enjoy watching it more than tennis?

Of course, playing golf is indicative of masochism, so ... we'll chalk it up to that.

Golf...tried tennis for 2 years back in the 80's and found out it was harder than basketball. Tennis imo is a very difficult game the only good thing is that is was always easy to get court time and you could play in the winter...but that is one ball busting sport.

...another good thing was that it was easier to get laid at a TC than a GC.
