Betty White to Guest Lecture on 'Community'

I really like White getting this sort of late (really late) career boost in visibility. It's refreshing to see as old a pro as her get some notice in her twilight years, rather than fading away.

^^ +1.. That would be brilliant casting..

Or something along the lines of the diminuative granny signed up to take a class and ends up being a pain in everyone's collective necks..

Can't say I'm unsurprised. Betty White is just 2 short years away from the White House at the breakneck pace she's been going of late.

During the 2008 election was was on The Late Late Show, pretending to be a speech writer for John McCain. When asked why she was hired her reply was... "To get the young vote". Frankly I rather have had her as VP than Painlin.

Betty White has been awesome for years, I don't know people just started realizing that now.

^I've been a fan of Betty White since watching reruns of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on Nick-At-Nite and having grown up on Golden Girls and Mama's Family since I was a kid.

I think the phenomenon started with the SNL petition online, and as a result of that... Everybody who was already a fan of hers REALIZED that everyone else and their dog was a fan too.

Sometimes it works like that... everyone likes it, but no one's talking about it.

Now we're talking about it.
