It would be interesting to see how Chuck would react if he were to learn Jimmy was not responsible for the stolen money. It doesn't sound as if Chuck ever confronted his brother on his investigation.

A big twist would be if Chuck's perfect dad was the one who took the money. Jimmy may have even covered for his dad to keep Chuck from finding out.

So his bosses actually replaced Jimmy's commercial with another one of those blue swirly deals? What's wrong with them?

Say what you will about tacky...it got phone calls rolling in. Blue swirly is going to be as effective as It was last time.

I think I scared my wife in the other room when I screamed "the cousins!" What a great and creepy intro for them!

Interesting how it took interest from another firm to bring back Slippin Kimmy. She isn't more ethical than Jimmy, just more guilty.

During a lot of these Mike scenes, I find myself scanning the characters, and I'm like "ok, Hank kills that guy, Walter kills that guy, Mike kills this one.."

Well, both of them are kind of being pushed down right now and need a release, and Jimmy's introduction to his world the first time must have stuck. She seems to be a natural at it.

See, everyone? Prequels can be fun after all! :D

 And this one: Mike cuts out Hector's voice box and has him committed to nursing home.

Jimmy rules, figuring out how to extricate himself from his situation while holding onto some of the benefits.

I'm not sure what to feel about Kim's idea for working with Jimmy in the future. Half of me is like "that's fair" and the other half is like "why bother?"

And the more you watch Mike the more you see his motivations for getting deeper into crime are similar to Walter White's. He's doing it for family. That was hinted at in the parent series but now you can really see it here.

So bored last night. I still don't care about the Kim and Howard Show.

I want to see more movement on the "Mike and the Mexicans" plot.

I think Mike's motivations are what Walter always pretended his were until the finale.

Walter had an axe to grind with the world because of Gray Matter. He always wanted to use his chemistry genius to take what he thought he deserved and the cancer diagnosis removed his inhibitions. 'Doing it for his family' was just his rationale.

Mike I think is the opposite. He already got his revenge. He has one thing in the world he gives a damn about without a hint of Walter's narcissism, and he just wants to defend it.

And you can see how much of a toll that's already taking on his psyche. That look on his face when they were getting ready to close on the house spoke volumes.

One other thing I appreciated about the episode was the revelation that Jimmy saw Main as a father figure, and so he knew he could treat him the same way as his father.

Cool to see little Jimmy McGill meet Jimmy Bond (from the Lone Gunmen series).

I'm going to miss Omar. Hope the actor finds more prominent (and longer-lasting) roles in the future.

Even less since they are airing the commercials in the middle of the night when NONE of the people they are trying to reach are awake.

Good analysis. Despite everything he did, Mike never seemed to like the criminal life, where Walter embraced it.
