I'm going with OP vs Megatron, but it does fit well at the end too.

The Touch worked perfectly at the end of The Return of Optimus Prime when OP cured the Milky Way of the Hate Plague.

Optimus V. Megatron. I still get chills watching the scene right when Prime says "Megatron must be stopped", transforms, and single-handedly plows right through the Decepticon ranks on his way to his confrontation with Megatron and.......destiny.

The actual Rodimus vs. Galvatron scene was good but it was way too brief by comparison and ended rather quickly with Hot Rod opening the Matrix, becoming Rodimus Prime, and then grabbing Galvatron and throwing him out into space through Unicron. The beginning of the fight between Hot Rod and Galvatron was much better.

What did everybody think of how it was used in "The Return of Optimus Prime Part 2? I remember that I was pleasantly surprised that they snuck it into the episode.

Yep, the start of this sequence is legendary, and overall the Op/Megs sequence would get my vote too. But I also really love Rodimus' "this is the end of the road, Galvatron" line and it works great with the music background.

The two are both needed, with the second use of it being fantastic because Rodimus finally gets his redemption for getting in the way in the Optimus and Megatron fight. Man that Optimus and Megs fight is awesome. And then seeing Unicron explode makes me want to go and watch season 3 now =)
