Best Star Trek computer game

Interplay's 25th Anniversary game. Nothing has even come close to that level of quality again except for it's sequel, Judgement Rites.

Oh yes! I loved those two!!!

My next favs were the Starfleet Command 1, 2 and Orion Pirates. (STC III not so much)

Starfleet Academy was also very good.

Academy was fun in a totally cheesy way - I loved the badly acted live action cut scenes.

Klingon Academy.
But only with the 500+ mods I added.

It's the main reason I still have a PC with Win98 still going.

Another vote for Judgment Rites/25th Anniversary. I spent countless hours on my Packard Bell with Windows 95 playing that game when I was a kid. And I've run it in DosBOX on more modern machines since. Seems every two years or so I get the urge to play again. Wonderful game.

25th was a great game. I wasn't a big fan of SC, and yes, Academy was cheezy in a fun way. Armada I and II were okay to waste time with. Never tried Judgement rites or Klingon Academy.

25th..Judgement Rites, I almost consider them the same game...

Adventure, puzzles, starship combat...plus with the CDs...you had the sounds and voices...

Gaming Goodness...

For the latter series of games...

Starfleet Command 1, 2 and O/P, Armada, Elite Force...

and the less said about Legacy, the better...

Oh, I played Legacy. Sure did. Yup.

Elite Force was pretty cool other than I naturally recoil from anything in the Voyager-verse.

A Final Unity for me, thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end with a decent story. The two TOS games, 25th Ann and JR, are a very close second.

There are actually lots of good ones:

Bridge Commander - A superlative starship sim with a good story, controls, voice acting and all around FUN to play.

Starfleet Academy - Cheesy cutscenes, sure, but I still love the Trek missions, the Ron Jones soundtrack, and the great X-Wing style gameplay. Add-on pack was neat too.

Starfleet Command - A great game, kind of a simulator/strategy hybrid.

A Final Unity/25th Anniversary/Judgment Rites - All three point-and-click adventure games were good, especially the CD versions with TOS music and voice acting.

Birth of the Federation -- I'd like to see an updated version with improved graphics and AI -- never going to happen of course.

Another vote for Birth of the Federation. No game gave me as much replayability as that one did.

A Final Unity was great, but I'm going to have to say Elite Force, just because we multiplayed the frack out of that one. Nothing like lining up 20 unarmed borg opponents and just going house on them.

Klingon Academy
Star Trek 25th Anniversary
Judgment Rites
A Final Unity
Bridge Commander
Elite Force

In that order.

I was really into playing Armada when I had a computer with Windows 98. The solo game wasn't that great, but I loved being the Romulans or Klingons and facing off against 3 other Borg fleets. It was awesome seeing 100 bird of preys wreak havoc.

Elite Force was pretty solid too.

Judgment Rites
25th Anniversary
A Final Unity
Elite Force
Bridge Commander
Birth of the Federation
Starfleet Academy
Borg
(insert gigantic chasm)
Away Team
Dominion Wars
Legacy

Oh yeah man, we got some serious mileage out of Armada- especially a lot of the mods gave it some serious replay. Star Trek v. Star Wars mod? Forgetaboutit!
