Best single scene in all of Trek?

No VOY scenes? What a surprise...

OK, the single best scene in Voyager. From the episode Infinite Regress.
Seven of Nine has gone loopy. For her own safety she has to be restrained in sickbay. However, for some mysterious reason, never explained, they don't use the restraint force fields like they normally do. Instead, it's out with the heavy duty, TOS era type straps.

BEST TREK SCENE EVER!

The scene from "The Year of Hell", where Janeway must enter a portion of the ship that is on fire. She calls ahead to sickbay to tell them the location of a patient (her) with serious burns......Damn, she showed the kind of balls and courage that no other Captain in all of Trek showed, in my opinion. I was incredibly proud of her at that moment, and will always regard the Janeway character highly because of it.

Surely everyone knows THIS is the greatest scene of all of Star Trek!

I'd love to see Worf or Tuvok doing that

I like the final battle in 'The Undiscovered Country', particularly the part where the tracking torpedo hits its mark, and Captain Sulu says, 'Target that explosion and fire!' That's followed by the Excelsior and Enterprise-A blowing the crap out of Chang's BoP.

BEST TREK SCENE EVER!

Changed to a link. Please see this link and don't do it again.

I dunno about "best" but the one that shook me up the most was the final scene of "The Inner Light" when Picard plays the flute found in the probe.

That's high on my list, too. Also Picard and... I'm blanking on her name right now... she was a stellar cartographer, I believe... playing the flute and keyboard together in the jeffries tube.

Best scene for me has to be where Kirk, McCoy and the rest are standing on Genesis watching the Enterprise hurtle down in flames. Kirk asks McCoy, "My god Bones, what have I done?"
I fully agree. That's a terrific scene, without a doubt. But what really clinches it for me is McCoy's response: "What you had to do. What you always do. Turn death into a fighting chance to live."

That line sums up James T. Kirk just about as well as anything else could...

This is the impossible question to post, I love it. There as soooooo many great single scenes in Trek both the series and films. As all the posts in this thead attest to, I have to have a Voyager in this mix, Final scene in Year of Hell. Janeway on a destroyed bridge looks through a huge hole where the view screen used to be, gets back into her chair and says the immortal words... TIMES UP

Meh, the only scene from "Year of hell" that I really liked was in the end, when Kurtwood Smith changes his mind and goes for a walk with his wife.

Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Edith in the street at the finale of COTEOF. Nothing else comes close in my book, except for maybe Spock's death in TWOK.

Gotta go with the last scene between Old Jake and Ben in "The Visitor."

Or "Jim... Your name... is Jim."

So many to choose from...

I'll go with - TOS, Day of the Dove, Kirk to Kang:

"And before I put you in the brig, there's a little something I owe you. ..." {{{KA-POW!!!}}}

Best Scene of all of Trek? Easy... First seen of DS9 "By Inferno's Light" When the Dominion fleet heads to Cardassia and Dukat confesses to everyone what kind of fool he is...

O'Brien: Sir, I don't believe it, the Dominion ships are turning away from the station!!! Theyre laying in a new course.

Sisko: Heading?

O'Brien: Straight for Cardassia!

Of course, the scene is a lot better if you see this episode before Rapture.
